Biography
Graduated Ringling School of Art, Sarasota, FL. Studied SVA School of Visual Arts, NY City, Course at Kean College & Union County College. Was Graphic Artist for Advertising Companies in FL, NY, and NJ, retired computer graphic artist from Logical Design Solutions, Morristown, NJ, Was Graphic artist for Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, where I have studied with Irma Offstroff, and Jessica Lenard. I have sold paintings at former Muddy Boot, Summit, NJ. I also paint on Commission.
Artist Statement
While doing professional graphic work through the years I have always found time to paint scenes of where I have lived or traveled. My paintings are realistic with abstract expression added. The colorful acrylic paintings can have collage and watercolor effects in them. Commissioned paintings are of clients special interests. Some paintings have people and children in them. They can be large as 30 inches or smaller. The 8 x 10 framed digital house art for Realtors starts with my photos and becomes enhanced like a watercolor, accentuating the houses best features.
Commissioned by Print NJ, “footprints on the moon” painting was given to former astronaut Neil Armstrong and is in the Air & Space museum in Wapakoneta, Ohio.
